Our Goal
OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE AND HIGH QUALITY MUSIC AND ARTS EDUCATION TO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES WHILE SUPPORTING A GROWING NETWORK OF SKILLED PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, AND WRITERS.
Benefits of being a EMAAC Client
AS A SERVICE TO BOTH STUDENTS AND INSTRUCTORS, FREE MONTHLY RECITALS ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS TO DEVELOP THEIR PERFORMANCE ABILITY. STUDENTS TYPICALLY START PARTICIPATING IN THESE AT THE ONE YEAR POINT.
WE HOST A YEARLY STUDENT ART SHOW WITH LIVE MUSIC, AND ALSO HAVE LARGER ART GALLERY EVENTS EVERY SIX MONTHS WITH REVOLVING CURATORS.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN-HOME LESSONS AS OPPOSED TO IN-STUDIO LESSONS? THERE IS A $10 DRIVING CHARGE ON TOP OF ALL THE ABOVE RATES AND WE CAN FACILITATE THIS AS WELL. CONTACT US TO HAVE A TEACHER ASSIGNED TO YOU!
History
The San Diego Music And Art Company was established by Mathew Rakers in 2014 and joined by Kevin Capacia in 2017 after he graduated from CSU Long Beach.
Kevin, a talented pianist, percussionist, and composer, quickly became one of the top instructors at SDMAAC, and together with Mathew Rakers, they decided to open The Escondido Music And Art Company at the start of 2022.
Kevin has successfully trained a number of students to accomplish the higher levels of Certificate of Merit, and Mathew has successfully trained a number of students to accomplish the higher levels of Piano Guild. They are producing some of the top young pianists in the region.
Together, with a team of skilled instructors driving north from the competitive San Diego market, they are seeking to reproduce SDMAAC’s model of high quality instruction on high quality instruments in the Escondido area!
